About

Rumpelstiltskin Dance is a small AI tool inspired by the viral "Rumpelstiltskin dance" meme. Upload a photo of yourself and get a short video where you play a role in the dance scene.

How it works

1. Upload a photo of yourself: a clear, front-facing photo of one person works best.
2. Choose your role: do the tiptoe dance as Rumpelstiltskin, or play the shocked girl.
3. Generate: in about 2–3 minutes you get a video you can download and share.

The AI behind it

Videos are generated in two steps with third-party AI models, accessed through the WaveSpeed AI platform:

• Google Nano Banana (Gemini image editing) creates an image of you in the chosen role and scene.
• Wan 2.2 Animate animates that image with the dance motion.

Uploaded photos and generated images are checked with WaveSpeed's image content moderation model. Every video is AI-generated and labeled as such.

Pricing

Generating a 480p video uses 1 credit and a 720p video uses 2 credits. New users who sign up with Google get 1 free credit. Credit packs start at $9.90 with no subscription. See the pricing page.

Responsible use

Only upload photos of yourself, or of people who have agreed to it. Videos must not be used to deceive, harass, or impersonate anyone. Read our Acceptable Use Policy for the full rules.

Who we are

Rumpelstiltskin Dance is an independent project run by Wang Kang in China. It is not affiliated with the creators of the original meme or with the AI model providers listed above.
